FAQs

Can I make this cherry cooler with frozen cherries?

Yes. Frozen cherries work well if fresh cherries are unavailable. Thaw them slightly before blending for the best texture and flavour.

Do I have to strain the cherry puree?

No. Straining is optional. Straining gives a smoother drink, while leaving the pulp adds more fibre and a thicker, smoothie-like consistency.

Can I make this cherry cooler without sugar?

Absolutely. If your cherries are naturally sweet, you can skip the sugar altogether or use honey, maple syrup, or another sweetener to taste.

How long does a homemade cherry cooler last?

Store the blended cherry cooler in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Stir well before serving, as natural separation may occur.

What can I serve with cherry cooler?

Cherry cooler pairs beautifully with light summer snacks such as sandwiches, wraps, pakoras, grilled vegetables, fruit salads, or picnic meals. It's also a refreshing drink to serve at brunches and summer gatherings.
