One of the best things about this apple cider is, it is made from fresh apples. It has minimal ingredients, easy to make, and is a cozy, family-favorite drink. You can make a spiced version of this recipe by adding a bunch of spices(will share the version separately) however, this recipe is the simplest apple cider.

Below are the ingredients needed to make this ultimate, easiest apple cider.

Ingredients to make warm apple cider

Orange peel - Orange peel from 1 orange to get nice, fruity flavor. You can also add half orange along with orange peel.

Apples - I am using red gala apples here to make this warm apple cider.

Cinnamon - Cinnamon is the main flavoring ingredient here.

Sugar and water - Water to boil apples and sugar according to your taste.

How to(with pictures)

Start with washing your apples thoroughly in running water. There is no need to peel the skin of apples. Cut them into medium pieces.

Separate the orange peel from 1 whole orange and keep it aside.

In a deep pan, Add water and bring it to a boil. Add cinnamon, orange peel, and apple.

Also, add sugar and boil everything for 20 minutes on medium flame.

Strain the mixture and serve hot. Don't forget to add a pinch of salt while serving.

  • 4 apples, red gala apples
  • Orange peel from 1 single orange
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • ½ cup sugar, granulated, adjust to your taste
  • 1 litre water
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick, to garnish
