Sprouts Sandwich Recipe is healthy and one of the easiest sandwich recipe that you can make on busy weekdays. This sprouts sandwich is made from homemade sprouts and the dressing is made from simple homemade curd.

ammmm, Do I need to give any introduction? well, I know most of you will say NO 😉 but let me tell a quick "official" definition of sandwich. A sandwich is a food typically consisting of vegetables, sliced cheese or meat, placed on or between slices of bread.

Ingredients used to make sprouts sandwich
For Sandwich dressing - I used homemade curd for this recipe but greek yogurt is a great alternative. Curd should be thick enough. so, make sure there is no excessive water content. You can always use hung curd or greek yogurt for this recipe. For seasoning, I used salt, red chili flakes, black pepper powder and homemade roasted garlic paste.
Even hung curd and garlic dip is a good dressing alternative too.
Hero ingredient - Mix sprouts is the hero ingredient of the recipe. Additionally, I added onions. You can add tomatoes and capsicum too.

How to make sprouts sandwich?
First and foremost, Prepare your sprouts in advance. I have shared a separate recipe post for making sprouts here.
Take a bowl and add curd.
Add seasoning like red chili flakes, black pepper powder, oregano and salt to taste. You can always use fresh basil if you have.
mix well. Add sprouts and mix well. A filling is ready. You can use either row sprouts or boiled sprouts as per your choice.
take bread slices and cut the sides.
spread the filling evenly on the one slice of bread.
put onion on the top and cover with another bread slice. serve chilled.
