Kurkuri bhindi, also known as crispy okra fry, is a deep-fried Indian snack made by coating thinly sliced okra with gram flour (besan) and aromatic spices.

"Kurkuri" means crispy, and that's exactly what this dish delivers - light, crunchy, and flavorful bhindi that's fried until golden perfection.

This is a no onion, no garlic recipe. It comes together quickly. This makes it perfect for both everyday meals and last-minute cravings.

Yes, you can air-fry or bake it, but deep-frying gives the most authentic, crispy texture.

How do I keep bhindi crispy for a long time?

Adding a little rice flour to the coating helps maintain crispiness for longer. Also, avoid covering it after frying.

Can I make kurkuri bhindi in an air fryer?

Yes, air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 12-15 minutes, shaking in between for even cooking.
