Are you saying YES to this quick, ultimate, and most important toddler-approved recipe? A layer of juicy blueberries topped with rolled oats, sugar, and butter baked until golden and crisp.
Ingredients
Below are the ingredients required to make blueberry crumble.
Blueberries
Frozen berries work best here. Put some fresh berries in the freezer for 2 hours and you are good to go 🙂
Flour
All-purpose flour, unbleached for the base.
Rolled oats
I personally love thick, classic rolled oats. You can use your choice of oats.
Sugar
I use granulated sugar most of the time. You can use brown sugar too.
Melted butter
Melted butter is required to creat a crumble base.
Instructions
Preheating oven
Preheat your oven to 375˚F or 180˚C for 15 minutes. It is essential to preheat your oven to cook everything perfectly and evenly.
Preparation
Take a mixing bowl, and coat blueberries with flour and sugar. Transfer to a baking pan.
Mix melted butter, flour, sugar, and oats. Layer this mixture on top of the blueberries.
Baking
Bake this for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven or until the oats are golden brown and crisp.
Have it straight and serve it with vanilla ice cream.
