I am obsessed with homemade yogurt. Yes, I LOVE to make yogurt at home. Today, I am bringing an amazing advanced clay-based cooker that can cook your lentils, pulses, meat and can also make super delicious homemade yogurt <3
Vitaclay is a brand that introduced a cooker with natural clay-based inner pots. There is nothing better than food cooked with natural clay-based pots. Today, I am sharing a homemade curd recipe with my vitaclay cooker.
This recipe is effortless and easy. I used yogurt from the previous batch as a starter. Here is an important tip while making yogurt at home, “Always maintain the temperature of your milk”. It is important to boil your milk at 181˚F to 185˚F first.
Can we store this yogurt?
Yes, This yogurt can stay fresh up to 3-4 days when stores in a refrigerator. I usually prepare fresh batch everyday.

I haven’t made homemade yogurt in years — really should again. Such a nice post — thanks.
Thank you John 🙂
Love the simplicity of this recipe. I wonder if the instant pot has a inner clay device option too as this would open up a whole new range of recipes to make in the pressure cooker.
Thank you dear 🙂
I have been making dahi / yogurt for nearly fifteen years now and we always prefer the homemade one. It is so much better than store brought one.
The Vitaclay Yogurt Maker is such a cool appliance!
Thank you so much 🙂

Homemade yoghurt is always a delicious and healthy recipe! Thanks for sharing and keep blogging 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I have been searching for a homemade yogurt recipe that fit these parameters exactly:
1) can use ultra pasteurized grass fed milk
2) can use store-bought yogurt as the starter
3) can use my vitaclay to make it
I cannot tell you how much milk and time I’ve wasted in the past trying to make yogurt in my vita clay prior to today.
Your recipe was a SUCCESS! My yogurt came out perfect! I followed the directions to the “T”. I used Sprouts supermarket brand grass fed whole milk and Stoneyfield whole milk organic plain yogurt for the starter.
Thanks so much for a fantastic, easy to follow and successful yogurt recipe. I’m so happy I found you!
Thank you so much 🙂
