- ¼ cup garlic cloves
- 1 tomato, medium
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp cumin
- a pinch of asafoetida
- ½ tsp ginger, optional
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- ½ tbsp coriander powder
Instructions
- take a mixer jar.
- transfer peeled garlic cloves into that.
- add tomatoes and salt.
- crush them to a smooth paste.
- heat oil and add cumin.
- add a pinch of asafoetida.
- add ginger and roast for a while.
- add crushed paste.
- add red chili powder and coriander powder.
- cook for 4-5 mins.
