This is a Healthy Snack made by roasting makhana in ghee / clarified butter.

As I have told, I am not used to with makhana because I have not been grown up eating makhana. The first time, I tried this recipe at my foodie buddy’s place and I loved it.

Ingredients
- 2 cups makhana
- 1 tbsp ghee / clarified butter
- ½ tsp garlic chutney
- 1 tsp turmeric powder /haldi powder
- salt to taste
Instructions
- microwave your makhana before use for a minute.
- Heat ghee in Kadai.
- add garlic chutney and turmeric powder.
- Saute it for a while.
- Add makhana and salt.
- Roast makhana for 4 minutes on medium flame.
- store in air tight container.
Notes
- If you don't have garlic chutney , then use 1/4 tsp minced garlic and 1/4 tsp red chili powder.
- Don't have a microwave?? not to worry. Just before making DRY ROAST makhana for 2 mins
