so, how to make perfect paratha? stepwise photos:
it is very important to make a perfectly soft dough to make delicious parathas.
Take a large bowl and transfer the flour in that.
add oil and salt according to your taste and mix it.
Add water as required and prepare a smooth dough.
cover the bowl with lid and keep it aside for 10 mins if possible.
take a portion of the dough and make a small ball. dust some flour on the rolling space and roll the ball to a medium thick circle.
spread some ghee and pleat the circle completely.
now roll the pleated and sealed ball again to a medium thick circle.
heat your tava and gently put the rolled paratha on the hot tava.
spread ghee or oil on both sides and roast until golden brown.
serve hot with pickle, curry or chutney.

I love paratha, but I have never tried to make my own. Bet they’re good cooked from scratch.
I’ve made parathas a couple of times lately, but they never looked as good as yours. I should try this version next time, my kids love them, call them Indian pancakes.
