As the name suggests, this recipe is totally a new touch to regular pavbhaji. You can even prepare this recipe from leftover pavbhaji.
You need to prepare bhaji first. Assembling of the recipe is very easy.
In Gujarat, Many places serve Cones prepared from maida so the taste of the cones is very similar to papdi puris. For an alternate option, you can use ice cream cones as well like I use here.

Ingredients
to boil veggies:
- 2 medium potaotes
- 1 cup spinach
- 3 medium brinjals /baigan
- ¼ cup matar/green peas
- ½ cup cauliflower
- ¼ cup cabbage
- 2 cup water, to boil veggies
for bhaji:
- 3 tbsp oil
- ¼ tsp cumins
- 2 tbsp ginger chili garlic paste
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tbsp corinader powder
- 2 tsp pavbhaji masala
- 1.5 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp lemon juice
other:
- 4 nos cones, ice cream cones
- 2 tbsp onions, chopped for topping
- besan sev, for topping
- fresh coriander
Instructions
- boil veggies and mash them.keep it aside.
- heat oil in pan.
- add cumins.
- when they crackle, add ginger chili garlic paste.
- saute for a while.
- add onions and saute.
- add tomatoes.
- add salt to taste.
- add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pavbhaji masala.
- cook them until tomatoes are mushy.
- add boiled and mashed veggies.
- mix them.
- add water little bit and cook for 7 mins.
- add tomato catchup.
- mix and add lemon juice.
- add coriander and keep aside.
- take an ice cream cone.
- fill the cone with bhaji.
- sprinkle some onions.
- sprinkle some besan sev.
- serve.
