Today I am going to share with you a recipe of savory canapes made with biscuits. I used monaco biscuits here.
I used moong beans as a main ingredient for the topping. I used to prefer boiled and tempered moong beans in my breakfast every alternate day. so, you usually get soaked moong beans in my refrigerator 😉

Apart from moong beans, I used onions and tomatoes. I used chili flakes and mix herbs to spice it up.
Monaco crackers are salty and i used regular cheese cube here which contains some salt as well. be alert while adding salt in your toppings. I am avoiding it .

Ingredients
for topping
- ½ cup moong beans, boiled
- ¼ cup onions, chopped | 1 small
- ¼ cup tomatoes, chopped |1 small
- ¼ tsp mix herbs
- chili flakes, as per your taste
- a pinch of black salt, optional
- fresh corainder
- 1 cube cheese
other:
- 10 monaco biscuits
- tomato catch up, to spread on the biscuits
- some cheese, for garnishing
Instructions
for topping
- take mixing bowl.
- add boiled moong beans.
- add chopped onions.
- add chopped tomatoes.
- add some chili flakes according to your taste.
- add mix herbs.
- add some grated cheese.
- add some fresh coriander.
- mix it.
assembling
- place Monaco biscuits on the serving plate.
- spread some tomato catchup on the biscuits.
- place some topping.
- spread some grated cheese.
- sprinkle some coriander leaves.
- serve immediately.

Notes
- soak 1/4 cup of moong beans for 40 mins in hot water and then boil it. this measurement will give almost 1/2 cup boiled moong beans.
- if you don’t have mix-herbs, use chaat masala. It also tastes good.
- avoid chilli flakes if you are making the recipe for your little kiddo.
