Pomegranate raita is very easy and delicious accompaniment recipe made with curd/yogurt. This simple recipe goes best with any kind of pulao and curries.
Raita is often referred to as a condiment and has a cooling effect to contrast with spicy curries and kebabs. In Indian cuisine, some type of flatbread like aloo paratha may be eaten together with raita, chutneys and pickles.
Pomegranate raita is one of the simplest raita recipes you can make. It is not only a delicious recipe but a quick too. Lovely raita recipe, Priya!
We often make Biryanis and Pulaos at home. So, I’ll definitely try your version of Pomegranate raita this weekend.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much harshad 🙂 incase of trying, let me know how it turns for you..
I really enjoy a good raita! I wasn’t familiar with raita until a few years back (maybe 5-6 now…gosh time flies!). Now it’s one of my favorite condiments for sure. I’ve never had a pomegranate version, though. I’ll have to whip up a batch of this one, Priya! It sounds delicious!
Thank you david:)
