Winter is started already and I know these days are the days where something hot beverages are preferred and milkshakes are the cold beverages. But milkshake is a quick energy booster and for me, it is not always necessary to have freezy OR chilled milkshakes. Sometimes room temperature is enough. My recommendation is to have this at room temperature as well ONLY because of peanut butter. however, the choice is yours always 🙂
Milkshakes are meant to be served cold as i said already, basically it is prepared from icecreams, chilled milk or iced milk. Aditional flavors can be added with it.
The HERO of today’s recipe is Oreo cookies and this milkshake is quite thick in consistency. You can adjust the amount of peanut butter and cookies according to your taste. you can add almonds additionally to make it nutty. even a pinch of coffee powder OR cocoa powder can be added to enhance the flavors. If you are making this for your kiddo, I suggest you to sprinkle some drinking chocolate powder on the top 😉
so, here are the steps I follow to prepare this simple milkshake.
