to make mint powder at home

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves

method:

  1. Clean the mint by picking the leaves and discarding the stems.
  2. Wash the leaves under running water to get rid of any mud and chemicals.
  3. Strain nicely to get rid of most of the water.
  4. Spread the leaves on a large baking sheet or large plates.
  5. Keep the plate in strong sun for 6-8 hours. My mint leaves took 2 days to dried out properly.
  6. Grind the dry leaves in a blender to make a fine powder.
  7. Store dry mint powder in an airtight container for up to a year.
