Mango lassi is another classic, traditional Indian summer drink recipe made from yogurt, Mangoes and with dry fruits to give distinct flavour. There are a lot of flavours you can make for lassi like Malai lassi, saffron lassi, strawberry lassi. However, The version I am sharing today is the Mango lassi recipe.
Indian summers are incomplete without mango lassi. Mango is a king of fruits.Mangoes! Yeah, they are delicious and more than half of Indians are obsessed with them. I am one of that obsessed person.
Making mango lassi is very easy and the process of making is very similar to malai lassi. I also make aam panna often in summers.
how to make lassi rich, thick and creamy?
To make a nice lassi, always use less liquid and more yogurt. Because it is thick in consistency, it is heavy and filling. But if you prefer a thin and light version then add more liquid (water or milk).
What kind of mangoes used to make mango lassi?
You can use any mango varieties like kesar mangoes, alphonso mangoes, Totapuri mangoes etc. people who are in USA can even use Mexican mangoes too. However, My personal favorite mangoes are kesar mangoes and alphonso. I used kesar mango in this recipe.
