here sweetened hung yogurt flavored with cardamom powder and studded with crunchy mixed nuts. The addition of saffron gives it a beautiful colour and aroma. Chilled shrikhand along with hot puris make a delicious combination for any festival.

how to make kesar elaichi shrikhand recipe?
- place the strainer in a deep bowl.also place kitchen cotton towel or muslin cloth on the strainer.
- pour fresh curd on the cloth.
- tie the cloth tightly and refrigerate it for 3 hours.
- afterward, you will see that the liquid has drained off.
- now, soak saffron threads in milk.
- transfer the drained curd in a mixing bowl.
- add powdered sugar.
- add cardamom powder.
- add saffron milk and mix.
- add dry fruits and mix well.
- serve chilled.

- 2 tbsp milk
- 6-7 saffron threads
- ⅛ tsp cardamom powder

I’ve never heard of Shrikhand, but it sounds so yummy! Love that you’ve used cardamom 🙂 we use it a lot in Middle Eastern desserts too!
