instant bread medu vada

This instant bread medu vada is a recipe which can prepared under 20 mins with very regular ingredients.

Serving Size 8 medium

Ingredients 

  • 6-7 bread slices
  • salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves
  • ¼ cup sooji /rava
  • ¼ cup rice flour
  • ½ cup curd
  • 3-4 tablespoon water, if required
  • Oil, to deep fry
  • 1 tablespoon dry coconut

Instructions

  • take a large mixing bowl and transfer bread slices.
  • crumble them into small pieces.
  • add black pepper powder.
  • add onion and coriander leaves.
  • add ginger.
  • add dry coconut.
  • add curd.
  • add sooji/rava and rice flour.
  • add salt to your taste.
  • mix all the ingredients and form a soft dough. if you feel the dough is dry, you can add 1 to 2 tsp of water to make it smooth dough.
  • now make a small ball and gently press to flatten. then slowly create a hole in the center like you prepare in medu vada.
  • heat oil.
  • deep fry the vadas slowly on medium flame.
  • fry on both sides till they turn golden brown. drain on paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • serve hot vada with chutney or sambar.
