Hygiene is maintained properly while making any homemade recipes. This recipe will ready in 30 to 40 mins including assembling, toasting buns and making veggie pattie.

Patties can be made from meat or from the veggies -sometimes both. I am vegetarian so I am sharing veg version of the burger here.
The main recipe of making a burger is – making a perfect patty. the main ingredients of the veggie patty is beans, green peas, potatoes and carrots. however, you are free to use your choice of vegetables as well.
usually, when you prepare any tikkis recipe, you boil your veggies first and after, immediately start seasoning it. Here I have a tip for you,
if your tikkis or kabbas have boiled potatoes as a binding agent OR even a main, Try to boil your potatoes 1 hour before atleast.after peeling or without peeling, put your potatoes in refrigerator for 30 mins atleast. Use it after.
This process will help the mixture to remain in perfect moisture.Otherwise you will have to add more breadcrubs or cornflour to soak the extra moisture.
I have used regular buns here. You can use your choice of buns like multigrain, whole wheat etc. Apart from that, I used eggless mint mayonnaise.

Ingredients
for flour slurry/batter:
- 1 tbsp gram flour
- 1 tbsp rice flour
- water as per need, 7 tbsp approx
for veggie patty:
- 3 cup mix vegetables, boiled
- 1 tbsp ginger chili garlic paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
other:
- 4 nos burger buns
- 1 cup bread crumbs, to roll patties
- ¼ cup oil, to roast patties
- tomato catch up, as per your need
- mint mayonnaise, as per your need
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- lettuce /cabbage, optional
Instructions
For flour slurry:
- add gram flour.
- add rice flour.
- add water using spoons. It takes approx 7 tbsp .
- mix it well.
- prepare a batter without lumps.keep it aside.
For making patties:
- boil your vegetables - I used carrots , beans ,green peas and potatoes.
- take a mixing bowl and mash it well.
- add garam masala.
- add salt to your taste.
- add ginger chili garlic paste.
- add half amount bread crumbs.
- mix it well.
- Add remaining bread crumbs and mix.
- Take small ball of the mixture.
- Give the ball to a patty shape.
- dip this patty in flour slurry.
- now roll this dipped patty in bread crumbs.
- spread some oil in pan.
- gently place patty into the oil.
- spread some oil again.
- roast it to a golden brown.
- keep it aside.
Assembling:
- semi roast your burger buns first. in other words,Make it warm .
- cut from the middle and slice the buns into equal portion.
- spread some tomato catch up.
- place lattuce / cabbage leave [optional]
- place your patty.
- spread some mint mayonnaise on the patty.
- place some tomatoes and onions.
- sprinkle some salt.
- spread some mayo again.
- if you like spread some catch up as well.
- place the buns on the top of each other.
- burger is ready.
- serve with tomato catch up.
