Honey chilli potatoes– one of our all-time favourite recipe and today I am sharing perfectly roast, perfectly spiced, a little bit of sweet, so good potatoes that are prepared in Vita clay.

Ingredients to make these delicious honey chili potatoes
Potatoes – You can use either baby potatoes or normal white, russet potatoes for this recipe. Chop potatoes in bite size.
Garlic – garlic gives extra flavour to the recipe however, It is totally optional.
Seasoning and spices – Salt, Chilli flakes, cayenne pepper powder and lemon juice. You can adjust the amount of chilli flakes according to your taste.
Oil – to coat potatoes.

- 3 cups potatoes, diced bite size
- ¼ cup oil
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoon red chilli flakes, adjust to your taste
- 2 tablespoon Cayenne peppers, adjust to your taste
- lemon juice , few drops
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Wash and chop your potatoes into medium bite size.
- Take a bowl and add minced garlic into that.
- Add oil, honey, salt, red chilli flakes, red chilli powder and mix it well. Also, add lemon juice.
- add potatoes and coat well.
- Now, in a vitaclay cooker, place your clay innerpot.
- Transfer potatoes into clay pot and add 2 spoons of water.
- Turn ON your vitaclay and select "stew" option under "slow cooking" and set time for 1 hour.
- Enjoy with your favorite dip.
I will have to look into the clay pot. You used it quite a few times, and it’s fascinating. I’m not a fan of pressure cooking (it scared my mother to death!), and I appreciate that it doesn’t have any metal to transfer into our bodies.
