The reason is i usually don’t like to have oats porridge so I always try to use oats in different ways.

chocolate oats muffins recipe

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 20 minutes
Serving Size 6 medium muffins

Ingredients  

  • 1 + ½ cup oats flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp melted chocolates, optional
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup milk
  • few vanilla essence drops
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup powdered sugar, approx (adjust to your taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, sift together the dry ingredients: oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and powdered sugar.
  • Add milk.
  • add water into bowl.
  • mix it very well. add melted chocolate.
  • make sure to avoid lumps.
  • Pour batter evenly into prepared muffin molds—filling each cup about ¾ of the way. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Mine took 15 minutes.
  • check with a toothpick, if it comes clean then your muffins are ready.
  • Place muffin molds on a cooling rack to cool for 30 minutes. Remove muffins from muffin mold and continue cooling on rack until completely cool, 1-3 hours.
  • Enjoy.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  • you can use coconut sugar instead of powdered sugar to make it more healthier.
  • you can use regular oats flour. please make sure to check the label "gluten-free" while purchasing GF oats.
  • If you have an OTG then preheat at 200C and then bake at 180C.check the muffins after 7-8 mins...
