Curry Nation Talks #3 – catch up on the little things in my life 😉

And we here back with our curry nation talks episodes. yuuuhuuuuuu.

Did you guys miss our talks? Oh yes, you must be thinking that what kind of girl is she? where is she gone after the announcement of this new space? Well guys, I am extremely sorry for not being active here and on my facebook and on Instagram too. This year is a bit busy going year and I am slowly trying to get back.

Those who are new to curry nation, I am Priya. I am the face behind it all. All these craziness, curries, photos, Instagram stories and everything on this blog. As we have recently started this space, Once a month we get together to chat about what’s happening in our lives.

January- April 2019 – Blog, Facebook, Instagram and us.

Previous months were a bit busy kind of months. Many of you guys may notice that I didn’t even post new recipes much. Well, we are doing good though.

Starting from this year, We are focusing more on the details, photography and overall blog performance. Many of you have asked us to share my blog income report and other technical things. Well, I will make a separate post on blog income with a report very soon. In this post, I am going to mention the tools we are using(few also updated from January to May) Apart from the tools, Here is our list of plugins we use to run this blog.

Current Tools(may 2019)

Theme and framework-I have stated many times before on the blog that we use custom theme and framework. We have tried different themes like foodie pro,cook’d pro and seasoned pro but our Current theme is Brunch Pro Theme which is on genesis frame work.

Hosting: This blog is currently using bluehost hosting service. We renewed our hosting plan with Bluehost on 7 April 2019.

Premium services: We have recently purchased wp recipe maker premium plugin.

Other services: From the starting of this month, We have started using planoly to draft and schedule our Instagram posts so that you guys don’t miss anything from us. We are using FREE plan currently. If you are planning for a vacation and want to draft your posts then go ahead with planoly

Photography and videos: We are using Nikon D3400 DSLR with 50mm prime lense. We use windows movie maker to edit our videos. We use Gimp software to scale images and to give a little bit of touchup to our images. I am learning photoshop these days and planning to switch. I will update once I will start using photoshop.

Now, The good things.

We are now 18k family on facebook and 2k family on instagram. I have also shared a few recipes like cookie dough recipe, hariyali pavbhaji recipe, sindhi kadhi recipe from your demand list.
