First and foremost, start the process by roasting rolled oats and sesame seeds until golden brown and fragrant. Cool it down so that you can churn quickly.
1 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Into a food processor, add these roasted sesame seeds, rolled oats, deseeded dates, and nuts. Churn them nicely.
2 cups nuts, 1½ cup medjool dates
You will get a coarse paste mixture and that’s it.
Roll the paste into snack size balls and enjoy 🙂
Notes
Storage: Store these balls in an air-tight container and they will stay fresh for 2 weeks at least at room temperature. I do not suggest storing these in the fridge or freezer as they will too hard and then you have to defrost it and it will ruin the taste. What I do is, I always prepare these in small batches so that we can enjoy fresh balls every time.
