i used kashmiri lal mirch which is less spicy

turmeric powder

Instructions
heat oil in a pan and deep fry okras to the golden brown. keep aside.
now add besan in the same pan and roast it until golden brown.
add cumin, curry leaves and ginger.
mix well.also, add a pinch od asafoetida if you like.
now add half amount of warm water and mix well.
add fried bhindis, drumsticks, potaotes, cluster beans and brinjals.
add salt to your taste.
add red chili powder, turmeric powder and tamarind water *check notes.
mix well.
add the remaining amount of water and mix well.
cook the mixture until the vegetables are cooked perfectly.
serve hot with boiled rice

Notes
for the tamarind water, soak 1 tsp tamarind and 1 tsp sugar in 3 tbsp water. mix well and strain the mixture..
You can use any of your favorite vegetables.
This curry goes best with steamed rice
you can add onions sometimes but it tastes heavenly awesome even without onions.
