Ingredients

cup
sooji/fine semolina
1.5
cup
water
1
tbsp
ghee
to roast dry fruts and sooji
¼
cup +1 tbsp
sugar
2
tbsp
ghee
for rava kesari
2
tbsp
milk
warm, to soak saffron
a
generous
pinch of saffron threads
¼
cup
dry fruits
i took raisins and cashews here
Instructions
Soak saffron threads in water or milk.(i am using milk here) keep it aside.
first heat ghee.
roast your dry-fruits and keep it aside.
in a same pan, add sooji/rava and roast.
roast your sooji until golden brown.
once it is roasted ,transfer into a plate and keep aside.
now, take another pan and water.
bring water to boil.
add roasted sooji and cook.
add sugar and ghee.
mix it and simmer for 5 mins.
add saffron milk.
mix.
at the time of serving add roasted dry fruits and serve hot.
Notes
always soak your saffron in warm water or milk.
do not skip ghee in this recipe as ghee gives the rich and smooth texture to the recipe.
you can add dry fruits of your choice.
adjust sugar according to your taste.
