medium size onion
diced
salt to taste

oil

red chili powder

turmeric powder
lemon juice to taste

split yellow mustard
Instructions
dice onions.
mix all the spices, spice powders and salt with the diced onion.
mix well so that the spices get evenly coated on the onion.
Add oil and gently mix.
serve with any rice or paratha.
Notes
using warm oil will enhance the taste.
lemon juice is must in this recipe. It helps to keep the onions fresh.
If you can't find Split yellow mustard then, Take a spoon of regular black mustard and grind them to a coarse powder. Use this powder instead.
