How to make garlic butter(in a jar)
Make homemade butter in a mason jar and enjoy this fun old-fashioned activity with kids. It is really easy to make butter at home.

Ingredients

heavy cream
35% whipping cream
salt to taste
1
clove
garlic
minced
handful
fresh cilantro
chopped
½
teaspoon
chili flakes
ice cold water
to wash butter
Instructions
Fill the mason jar
halfway with heavy cream as you will need some space to shake the cream. So don't fill up full or too high.
Screw the lid and time to shake. Start shaking the jar (with all your energy;)).
First, It will turn into whipped cream. It will take around 5 to 7 minutes depending on your shaking speed.
Close the ajr with lid again and keep shaking it until you notice the milk solids seperated from buttermilk.
Your butter will look yellowish and medium-sized solid ball separated from the liquid.
Take that ball out of the jar and wash it in an ice-cold water.
Transfer into a mixing bowl or plate and add salt, garlic, cilantro, chili flakes and butter.
Store it in a butter keeper or just wrap it in butter paper and refrigerate it. Enjoy.
