Ingredients
½cupgreen chiliessliced
salt to taste
2tbsppowdered yellow mustardrai na kuriya
4tbspoil
apinch ofturmeric powder
apinch ofasafoetida
lemon juice to taste
Instructions
wash and dry your green chilies and cut them into medium slices.
Take a bowl and make a mixture of mustard powder,salt,oil,lemon juice,turmeric powder and asafoetida.
Mix well.
Add sliced chilies and mix well.
store this pickle in sir tight container.
serve this pickle after 3-4 hour.
Notes
This pickle taste best after 24 hours but you can have immediately as well.
if you don't find powdered mustard at store,follow this recipe-
Roast your regular mustard on tava or pan for 5 min.
spread them on chopping board.
crush them using rolling pin/wooden roller or roti belan.
you will get fine powder of mustard .use this in recipe.
You can use any variety of chilies.I managed to get bhavnagri chilies in store so i am using that. chilies are totally depend on the spice level of your liking.
I have not tried this recipe using capsicum so i can not tell you how it tastes along with capsicum.
