toor dal / pigeon peas split
yield 1.5 cups boiled dal

water
to boil dal

oil

cumins

garlic
chopped

coriander powder

tsp
turmeric powder
salt to taste
Instructions
soak toor dal for 15 mins and transfer it to a pressure cooker.
add water and pressure cook it for 4-5 whistles.
keep aside.
heat oil in pan.
add cumins.
add garlic and saute it.
saute it until golden brown.
add turmeric powder and coriander powder.
add salt to taste.
mix.
add boiled dal.
boil for 6-7 mins.
serve hot.
