Preheat an oven - First thing first, gather your ingredients. Preheat your oven for 15 minutes at 375˚F or 180˚C.
Preparing cake batter - Take a mixing bowl and whisk ½ cup cooking oil and ¾ cup sugar together. You can use your mixer or hand mixer. Once sugar and oil are mixed, add 1 cup curd / yogurt and mix. Avoid lumps.
Add 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, vanilla extract, 1½ cup all purpose flour, and ½ cup tutti frutti, and prepare a cake batter.
Preparing cake pan - I am separating this point as I think preparing a cake pan for cake is very important. You don't need to place cake liners always. If you don't have them handy, coat cake pan with butter or oil and dust some flour.
Make sure to dust flour properly and this is a full-proof method. Your cake won't stick to the pan 🙂
Baking cake- Once the batter is prepared, transfer it into a pan. Bake it for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake is baked. Check th ecake by inserting a wooden toothpick in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean, your cake is done, otherwise cook for some more time.
Enjoy with tea or coffee. Serve it warm.
