fresh coconut

fresh coriander

salt to taste
suagr to taste

roasted gram

curd
or water to adjust consistency
for tadka

Instructions
take your mixer jar first.
add ginger, green chili and fresh coriander in mixer jar.
add fresh coconut as well.
add phutni(roasted gram),salt and sugar.
churn your chutney.
After first churn,add water or curd and crush to a smooth paste.
now, prepare tadka , heat oil in tadka pan. add mustard seeds,cumin, red chili and curry leaves.
pour this tadka over the coconut chutney and serve with idlis , dosa or vada.

you can use either curd or water to adjust the consistency.I sometimes like to use curd.
