first, rinse the arbi roots in running water to remove the dirt.
now, heat pressure cooker and add water in it. Also, add washed arbi and pressure cook it for 3 whistles on high flame.
heat oil in pan. add cumins.
peel the skin and cut them in medium circles. keep it aside.
when the cumin crackles, add garlic and chopped green chili.
saute for a while.
now, add chopped onions and saute it.
add turmeric and cook the onions for 2 min.
add red chili powder and coriander powder.
also add salt to taste.
add chopped arbi and mix.
cook arbi for 2 mins and serve hot.

Notes
Sometimes, pressure cooking arbi is depends on the water you used. after 3 whisltes, check the arbi by inserting fork in the center if it not soft then cook it again for 1-2 whisltes.
