Ingredients
for yogurt mixture:
1
cup
yogurt
½
teaspoon
turmeric powder
a
pinch of
red chili powder
optional
salt to taste
sugar to taste
1 teaspoon approx
½
teaspoon
ginger grated
other:
6-8
bread slices
dry coconut
for garnishing
for tadka/tempering:
½
teaspoon
oil
a
pinch of
mustard seeds
a
pinch of
cumins

curry leaves

green chili
optional
Instructions
for yogurt mixture:
take a bowl .
add yogurt in that.
add turmeric powder,red chili powder,salt,sugar and grated ginger.
Whisk.
Add more turmeric powder.
whisk the yogurt well. Make sure to avoid lumps.
keep aside.
Assembling:
take
a regular bread slices
and cut the sides of each bread.
take one bread slice and spread the yogurt mixture on that.
place the other bread and spread yogurt mixture on that.
repeat the process until stack completion. prepare a stack of 3 or 4 breads.
refrigerate these dhokla for 7-10 mins.
sprinkle some dry coconut powder.
spread some tadka on dhokla. for tadka,
heat oil.add mustards,cumins, curry leaves and green
chilli
.
serve .
