Once the butter is smooth enough, add sugar and mix well.
Meanwhile, preheat your oven at 180˚C for 15 minutes.
Once sugar and butter mixed well, Add flour, salt, baking soda and roughly mix.
Add vanilla extract and milk and form a dough. If you feel the dough is very smooth and you are unable to roll, refrigerate it for 30 to 60 minutes.
Dust some flour on the surface (your work station) and roll into a thick sheet. Note – make sure cookies are thick enough otherwise It will burn quickly.
Use your favourite cookie cutter and give them a shape
Transfer in a baking pan and bake it at 180˚C for 15 to 17 minutes.
Cool it down completely. Cookies will get crispy once it is cooled down completely.
Decorate and store it in an air tight container.

Butter should be at room temperature. You will not get the best result if butter is cold.
Gently form the dough using your hands.
If you are living weather is humid, refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 minutes atleast.
