Wash your mushrooms and slice it. Keep it aside. Also, slice onions and chop tomatoes. keep it aside.To make this curry, heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add cumin.
Add onion, chilli garlic paste and saute for a while.
Once onions light brown, add chopped or grated tomatoes cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt and fry until oil starts to separate from the sides.
Now add chopped mushroom and mix well.
Cover the pan and cook the curry on low heat for 10 minutes. Stir once or twice in between. If the curry is too dry, add some water to it.
Check if mushrooms are soft enough.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Add lemon juice if you like (totally optional) and mix well.
