Gujarati food is famous for their sweet,tangy and chatpatta taste. I always love this food and trust me,i never think of diet when i eat chatpatta food 🙂 .well,this is a season of pickles.Market is flooded with all type of mangoes.Pickles are very difficult for me when it comes to follow the traditional recipe. Pickles are the recipes which meets perfections only after some experience.
The recipe i am sharing today is spicy pickle recipe. This is kinda instant pickle recipe and known as “ rai wada marcha“(chilies with yellow mustard) in all over gujarat. You can hardly find a home in gujarat without this chili pickle.
We eat this rai marcha with gathiya and thepla.
Gujarati chili pickle is made with very few ingredients but yes yellow mustard dal is the main ingredient.if you don’t get powdered yellow mustard, don’t worry i have a solution. please read the post till the end for the solution.
